Jill's Last Fling

Saturday was Jill's bachelorette party. Kristie, Tia and I got ready at Kristie's place and stopped by the MAC counter to have faux lashes put on. It's amazing how some fake lashes will make you feel instantly sexier...except for the part where they start falling off 2 hours after you've had them put on! I'm so thankful - surprised- but thankful that Kroger carries lash glue!! :)
Kristie and I rockin' our lashes

Tia and Holly - Jill's Matron and Maid of Honor - rented a limo bus to cart all the ladies around for the evening. You must have to be an extremly patient and tolerant person to drive a bus around full of ladies looking for trouble. Bless you Mr. Bus Driver. We stuck around the Royal Oak area visiting a few different bars including the always fun Boogie Fever. We even got a special visit from "Mr. Daytona". Those pictures are definitely not suitable to be posted here unless I can put an R rating on this post. :) Totally Jill's style, but not so much mine. Girls who have the possibility of standing up in my wedding some day - SKIP the stripper. Thanks so much.

All-in-all it was a super fun evening with the ladies. Next up - Kristie's B Party!!!

Irish For a Day

I really hate when St. Patrick's day is on a weekday. It's not nearly as fun. We had to get out and drink a few green beers anyway. Emmy and I first attempted to get in to The Claddaugh...we made it through the line only to learn of the $10 cover! It's a Tuesday night! Ridiculous if you ask me. On top of that, you had to pay $5 for a little Dixie cup of beer. Not worth paying that price just for the "atmosphere". So, we headed over to Doc's where the 22 oz beers were only $2.50...now we're talking. Amanda met us there and the boys eventually joined as well. The weather was gorgeous (well, gorgeous for March) so the patio was open. So nice to have fresh air! Can't WAIT til summer...

Family Fun

This past weekend I had my entire family come to the Eastside to visit! Friday we spent the evening relaxing with some pizza and good ole TV watching. Saturday while the boys warmed up for the golf season ahead, the girls and the little ones visited the Ann Arbor Hand-on Children's museum. Way cool, even for the adults! My favorite part had to be the floor piano - just like in the movie BIG.

Chase and I in the car on the way home from the museum...he smiled so nice for my self-portrait!

It was so great to have my entire family together, especially on my side of town! My dad had never even seen the condo and we've been living there for a year and a half!!

Look at these two cuties all snuggled up on my couch!
