Happy Birthday to ME!

I CANNOT belive I'm 26 already! Twentyfive wasn't so bad, but now I'm on the slippery slope towards 30. My sister, Gary and Emmy would all tell me to shut - up right about now...but still, I can't believe I'm now in my LATE 20's!!!

This is what I had waiting for me when I got home on Friday. Thanks Emmy!!

To help celebrate my birthday a group of us went for dinner to the Rusty Bucket (they have YUMMY sliders!) and then bowling at the Novi Bowl. Of COURSE, while we were there, we had to do some kareoke-ing. A couple of my friends from high school even made the trip to hang out!

We thought it would be funny to take pictures of everyone's reactions to eating the vodka soaked fruit. As you can tell by my face, it was NOT very good.

I love this picture because it is a scene that is quite familiar to me. This is cleary Gary saying something he thinks is funny, but I definitely do not.

Super Sunday!

Last year Gary and I threw a Super Bowl party at his condo. It was our first "get-together" at the new place. I think since we threw one last year, we have now been designated Official Super Bowl Party Throwers. So, needless to say, we had one again this year. It was a bit smaller than last year, some of our usual guests were out of town or home sick. Nevertheless, we had a good time and ate waaaay too much food.

Ryan and Lisa were sure to bring glasses for everyone so that we could get the full experience of some of the 3-D commercials that aired during the game.

I didn't care much for the game. I think the girls didn't even venture into the living room until way into the second quarter. It did end up being quite the game though. It was also nice not to have to worry about getting up for work on Monday morning! Thanks everyone for comin' over!!!
